IT Enterprise Architect II Pharmacy
About The Position

Under close supervision, performs urban planning assignments including managing current planning activities, coordinating long-range plans and specific neighborhood studies, preparing and presenting staff reports and ordinance amendments, and providing basic technical assistance on planning and zoning issues to the public and external city departments.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience
- A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire
- Must be able to assimilate information of varying types from a wide range of sources; demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication and technical writing; create and interpret maps; maintain a large database of information; operate a computer or similar technology using standard word processing, spreadsheet, data inquiry, graphics and presentation software, email and calendaring, and planning and zoning software, including geographic information systems (GIS).
- Must be able to comprehend and interpret technical manuals and ordinances; establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, city officials, outside consultants, and the general public; work in a fast-paced environment and be detail-oriented; complete projects in a timely manner with minimal edits; demonstrate exceptional customer service skills; skill in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing while working with interruptions and changes in priorities; and work independently while exercising exceedingly high levels of good judgment, tact, and diplomacy.

Responsibilities
- Research issues related to zoning, platting, comprehensive plans, annexation and population projections.
- Assist general public with the interpretation of the zoning and platting ordinances and applicable state law.
- Prepare presentations and provide information for public hearings and may assist the Planning Commission, Landmark Commission, and Zoning Board of Adjustment.
- Provide and review amendments to the Unified Development Code (UDC).
- May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
