About The Position

About This Role: World Group is currently looking for a systematic and collaborative person to join our family as an IT Enterprise Application Manager for our Corporate Headquarters located in Rocky River, OH! The Enterprise Application Manager is responsible for the configuration, customization, and optimization of enterprise application modules to support our business needs. As part of the Information Technology (IT) department, you will work closely with one or more operational teams, and functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, and/or Operations, to ensure that the company’s enterprise applications deliver high-quality solutions that meet our strategic goals. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and customization.
  • Experience with various workflow tools and accompanied database triggers (basic level).
  • Familiarity with integration tools such as data loaders, APIs, and third-party integrations.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of application features and functionality.
  • Proficient in using configuration tools (e.g., Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Reports, and Dashboards).
  • Basic understanding of software development concepts (Agile methods, DevOps, testing best practices) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities and attention to detail, demonstrating an ability to troubleshoot and optimize the application
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptability: Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with enterprise application communities and upholding team standards for responsibilities, processes, and documents/templates.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with major analytics solutions (i.e., BI PowerBuilder, Tableau, Domo, etc.), cloud environments, and pricing engines is a plus.
  • Certifications: Certified Administrator of popular platforms, or other relevant certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitator of a Steering Committee comprised of leaders of relevant stakeholders using the application
  • Product Backlog Maintenance: Responsibilities include defining user stories, prioritizing backlog items, and aligning the backlog with stakeholder needs and business objectives
  • Application Module Configuration: Configure application modules based on business requirements. This includes setting up objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, process builders, and reports.
  • Customization & Automation: Create custom objects, fields, page layouts, and record types to meet specific business processes. Implement automation solutions, including workflow rules, process automation, and flows to streamline business operations.
  • Integration & Data Management: Assist in integrating enterprise applications with other systems, ensuring data flows seamlessly between platforms. Help maintain data quality, data import/export processes, and data validation procedures.
  • User Management & Security: Configure user access groups, permissions, roles, and sharing settings to ensure proper access control and data security across the application environment.
  • Testing & Deployment: Participate in the testing and deployment of configurations, customizations, and integrations. Ensure that all changes are thoroughly tested and documented before deployment to production.
  • Documentation & Training: Develop clear documentation for application configurations and processes. Provide the necessary documentation to inform training and ongoing support to end-users to maximize adoption and usage.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate those needs into application configurations that enhance business productivity and efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with application best practices and new features. Continuously monitor and optimize application configurations for performance and scalability.
