About The Position

As an IT Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and evolving our IT infrastructure to ensure stability, security, and scalability. Working within a cross-functional team, you'll help modernize legacy systems, deploy new technologies, and provide reliable support to end users. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • OR
  • 1+ year of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree in a non-technical field (e.g., Business, Humanities, Marketing), or related field.
  • OR
  • 3+ years of IT-related work experience with a High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting servers and workstations across a variety of operating systems, primarily Windows and Linux.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments while maintaining reliable and consistent support for customers.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A passion for learning and a systematic approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve support requests through a help desk ticketing system, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and high-quality customer service.
  • Troubleshoot and debug moderately complex issues across networks, systems, and applications; perform root cause analysis and escalate when necessary.
  • Support IT security practices by applying updates, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and assisting with compliance-related tasks.
  • Monitor system and application performance, identify trends, and contribute to performance optimization strategies.
  • Help prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, both independently and within a team, while maintaining focus on project goals and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project leads and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and system configurations to support team knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the development and deployment of hybrid IT environments, ensuring solutions align with business requirements.
  • Work with business stakeholders to ensure systems and applications meet user needs and functional specifications.
  • Present technical findings and proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Create or contribute to user-facing documentation and training materials to support onboarding and system adoption.
  • Build relationships with colleagues across departments to share insights, gather feedback, and improve cross-functional collaboration.
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute to decision-making on system architecture and implementation paths.
