Explore career opportunities with TSMC Washington and join a company with a commitment to excellence and innovation.   Who We're Looking For: We are looking for an IT Engineer, you will develop, enhance and maintain semiconductor factory MES/CIM applications and manufacturing and engineering reports, participate system design, implementation and deployment, support users and team members as needed. Work in a team, multitasking and dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology(GPA 3.0 or higher).
  • 0-2 years of software development experience.
  • Proficient in core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with or solid understanding of SQL(queries, joins, stored procedures) and basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2
  • Experience with or solid understanding of web technologies(HTML,CSS, RESTful APIs, JSON, Web Frameworks).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with programming language C# is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Unix environment, including shell scripting (bash, etc.) and command-in tools, is a plus.
  • Educated understanding of Agentic AI with regards to software design and development is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain IT systems for semiconductor manufacturing FAB including MES, equipment controllers, central CIM systems, and reports.
  • Perform timely user issue troubleshooting and look for opportunities for system baseline improvement.
  • Represent IT to work with user groups on total IT solutions in productivity and quality improvement.
  • Weekly shift rotation to provide support during work hours, off-hours, and weekends on an on-call coverage as needed.
  • Develop and maintain Fab Automation function to support OverHead Hoist Transportation(OHT) system.
