About The Position

We are looking for an IT Engineer to support and maintain our global IT infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with Virtuozzo team members worldwide, supporting both physical infrastructure and SaaS systems to ensure the 24/7 availability of servers, services, and internal systems . You will join an established IT team and help scale our infrastructure to support our growing international organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on systems administration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of IT operations, meant for Mid-level candidates.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Linux administration , including RHEL/CentOS and Debian/Ubuntu
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, etc.)
Working knowledge of Windows and macOS systems
Experience administering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Active Directory
Good understanding of IT hardware and system maintenance
Strong spoken and written English skills
Ability to troubleshoot independently and work collaboratively in a team

Nice To Haves

Experience in an IT helpdesk or customer support environment
Exposure to virtualization platforms
Experience with technologies such as: Apache, Nginx MySQL, PostgreSQL Zabbix Puppet or Ansible Docker and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support through the IT helpdesk
Manage access to SaaS systems, including regular reconciliation
Set up and manage email accounts, groups, and calendars (Microsoft 365, Active Directory)
Install, configure, and upgrade software for self-hosted systems
Perform server maintenance, patching, and upgrades
Monitor servers and services, resolving or escalating incidents as needed
Troubleshoot outages and prepare RFO (Reason for Outage) documentation when required
Support employee onboarding and offboarding IT processes
Collaborate with the wider IT and Security teams to document and improve internal workflows
Contribute to improving overall IT security hygiene and policies
Assist with hardware setup, maintenance, and asset lifecycle management
Plan and deliver IT assets to employees
