About The Position

Design, build, test, implement, maintain, and optimize the network, telecommunications, desktop, and mobility systems infrastructure and operations. Monitor and optimize the performance of operating systems and applications. Diagnose system failures and take corrective action. Use strong client service orientation to ensure all requests and problems are resolved. Work on one or more initiatives or workgroups to develop/build low to moderately complex systems. Work with team members to understand business needs. Analyze and translate business requirements into system specifications. Develop and document systems to meet business requirements. Develop/build, and test technology solutions to meet business requirements. Install, configure, and test technology and infrastructure systems. Maintain existing security capabilities, making recommendations and implementing appropriate up to date security technologies. Create test files and performs system tests. Assist in the deployment of new, modified or enhanced system components or services. Ensure performance meets the present and future needs of the business. Recommend changes/enhancements for improved systems availability, reliability and performance. Analyze metrics to understand performance and identifies opportunities for continuous improvements. Perform Level 3 issue assessment and resolution on systems. Document new or modified functions, modules and test activities/results. Ensure all documentation is delivered according to specified guidelines and on selected media. Provide coaching and mentoring to less-experienced team members. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • 3 years of related technology work experience required.
  • Knowledge of products and services.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing environments
  • Written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with system users and other technical collegues.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Analytical thinking skills.
  • Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 apps including new outlook client, patch cycle and support
  • Experience with administering client policies and deploying Office apps add-ins
  • Experience with Office 365 tenant administration includes exchange server administration
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving end users Office apps related issues
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting
