As the Supply Chain Management IT Director, you will help drive the ongoing identification and implementation of technology solutions that bring transparency and visibility to the extended/multi-tier supply chain, enable Ford to collaborate with supply chain partners in balancing demand/supply/inventory/capacity and ensure constraints/risks are efficiently mitigated to minimize production disruptions. Based in Dearborn, MI, this is a hybrid position with a required four-day onsite presence each week. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates. Be accountable for portfolio and product strategy, delivery of IT investments, and production support. Own and manage the delivery of IT solutions: governance, budgets, contracts, reviews, feasibility, cost-benefit analyses, prioritization, initiation, execution, and closure. Develop strategy and explore future technologies powering digital supply chain Drive technical integration of portfolio and ensure seamless interoperability across the ecosystem to provide best-in-class enablers to tackle business problems. In addition you will... Establish direction and guide product/integration teams across multiple areas including supply chain collaboration, visibility, integrated supply risk management, supply chain sustainability and material fulfilment exception management. Optimize resource footprint to take advantage of talent globally and across Ford/technology partners. Ensure delivery is managed effectively using Agile delivery and portfolio management practices. Apply a broad understanding of Ford enterprise architecture and technology standards to guide solutions/services. Work together effectively with various levels of senior management, business partners, suppliers and internal IT partners. Be responsible for skill development, coaching, and counseling of direct reports. What you'll do...
