About The Position

Zogo is currently seeking an IT DevOps Engineer to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role is responsible for the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and IT teams to design, implement, and maintain the systems and processes that keep our applications running smoothly and securely. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or IT operations.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and high-availability architectures.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation frameworks.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues under pressure.
  • Passion for financial literacy and a desire to make a meaningful impact.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant degree or certifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Ensure systems are highly available, scalable, and secure.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging to maintain system health.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and streamline development workflows.
  • Support engineers in building infrastructure-as-code solutions.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for data security and compliance.
  • Manage access controls, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Conduct regular audits and contribute to incident response planning.
  • Partner with engineering teams to design infrastructure that meets product needs.
  • Act as a resource for troubleshooting production issues and guiding resolution.
  • Document processes and educate team members on DevOps practices.
