The IT DevOps Engineer II is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation, deployment, and monitoring solutions that support reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery. This role works across development, operations, and QA teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, and ensure system stability across environments. This role is expected to take initiative in improving DevOps processes, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the architecture and performance of deployment systems. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical acumen, collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset. This role is offered as remote. You may be required to work periodically at a Jamf office or collaborative work location with other Jamf employees in your area for certain events or moments that matter. We are only able to accept applications for those based near Minneapolis, MN, Eau Claire, WI, or Austin Texas areas.

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency, performance, and reliability.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance visibility.
  • Responsible for supporting Kubernetes
  • Identify and automate repetitive operational tasks to increase delivery speed and reduce manual effort.
  • Support and maintain secure environments, following DevSecOps practices and compliance standards.
  • Participate in incident response and contribute to root-cause analysis and remediation efforts.
  • Mentor DevOps Engineer I team members and share best practices for automation and cloud operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent processes and promote a DevOps culture across the organization.
  • Support Tier 2 Tasks for the DORM support queue

  • Lead the development, implementation, and testing tasks in different development projects tied to systems and functionality
  • Review, maintain, and update the documentation creation related to any development tasks
  • Create different configuration & infrastructure environments in a development lab to troubleshoot issues and offer possible solutions
  • Maintain connections between core business systems
  • Any other tasks or projects as assigned
  • 3 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
  • 1 year demonstrated experience in current programming language (to include at least one mainstream objective oriented or functional language) and tools based on position requirements (Required)
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles
  • Working knowledge of the Salesforce platform, AWS, Jenkins, Github, Copado and Own Backup (Preferred)
  • Working knowledge in Kubernetes
  • Experience in Apex and Visualforce (Preferred)
  • 4 year / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. (Preferred)
