About The Position

We are seeking curious, passionate, and hard-working students from quantitative academic fields to partake in our paid summer internship program. This is a hybrid & paid internship that is located in Caledonia, MI in our Farmers office location. For this internship opportunity we are seeking someone who is able to work full time during the summer and then continue to work part time during the school year.

Requirements

• Ability to analyze software applications to address and solve business problems.
• Familiarity with development tools, SQL, XML, ETL and DB2.
• A passion for learning and development.
• Willingness to independently learn and make an impact within a team environment.
• Self-motivated, an excellent problem solver and a quick learner.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred but not required: IBM Data Studio or SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Developers to learn our applications.
• Evaluate business impact of application bugs and data issues.
• Clearly communicates complex technical concepts and data insights.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
