The IT Developer will be competent in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Development and the technical design, development, and support of Orchestrations within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. This role will ensure functional designs are stable, reliable, and scalable Information Technology systems. The role is also responsible for verifying production applications are operating at optimal levels through quality application delivery; and quickly and accurately correcting production issues as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in Software Development, Information Technology, or in a related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.x and related technologies, or similar ERP package(s).
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with JDE API's, custom UBE's, Business Functions (BSSV), and NER's.
  • Ability to design, develop, and support JDE Orchestrations both technically and functionally.
  • Knowledge, experience, or familiarity with any of the following: JDE EnterpriseOne BI Publisher, Café One, One View, Watch Lists, and Composite Pages.
  • In-depth knowledge of the JDE database structures and how the application uses the underlying tables and data.
  • Understanding of different operating environments (DV, PY, PD) and associated object promotion rules.
  • Previous experience supporting and integrating third-party systems.
  • Prior development experience with DSI and / or RF Smart is beneficial, but not required.
  • Familiarity with a formal project methodology or Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Document and track current and future state business processes and requirements within one or more functional business areas.
  • Create functional specifications based on business requirements.
  • Regulate and assess changes to requirements and their impacts.
  • Track requirements from business case to implemented solution.
  • Maintain requirements for reuse.
  • Integrate testing for project and provide support for user acceptance testing.
  • Assist in defining test scenarios, test plans, test strategies, and the creation of test scripts to ensure requirements from business case implemented into solution.
  • Provide artifacts (data model, DTIL's, data maps, knowledge base articles, etc.) and educate the support team.
  • Provide input to production support when necessary.
  • Identify and gather appropriate business requirements that lead to the necessary solution that satisfy the business need.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering within one or more business functional areas to develop a comprehensive business requirements document.
  • Work in conjunction with project manager, and systems analysts to build test plan, business test scripts.
  • Trace test plans/scripts to requirements from business case to implementation solution to ensure accurate results.
  • Define and create project related policies and procedures, create functional specifications, DITL's, decisions documentations as well as following Project Management Office (PMO) methodology.
  • Review end user training documentation and assist in training if needed.
  • Support the Subject Matter Expert on business processes and systems for their functional area of expertise.
  • Act as a liaison for the functional area between IT application team and business based on expertise.
