This position is accountable for implementing, developing within, maintaining, and configuring 3rd party applications, ETL programs, custom code, database design, data warehousing, complex data queries and view development, data modeling, and query performance for developing reporting and analytics required to support the District's business processes. The incumbent will participate in the full project life cycle process including gathering requirements, system design, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and support of the data landscapes. NPPD's core business systems are comprised of SAP and Microsoft products. Incumbent will primarily develop using SAP products, and some Microsoft products. The incumbent must work closely with our business unit customers and technology teams to ensure business requirements are implemented and meet customer expectations. Incumbent is also expected to educate systems users, as part of support and manage projects to successful completion. The incumbent will learn from teammates the details, procedures, and processes necessary to support this workload as well as independent discovery. The incumbent will become one of the technical solution owners for the technologies used in this process. The incumbent is not required to be knowledgeable on all preferred technical skills or supported products listed at date of hire.
