The IT Data Center Analyst/Sr. Analyst will lead and control the necessary tasks and functions within defined procedures and guidelines to assure an adequate, reliable and efficient technological base for the development and operation of information and communication systems.

  • Leads Data Center operations, including controlling access, racking/unracking and stacking equipment, inventory of hardware, monitoring control tools.
  • Ensures Data Center operation by scheduling regular maintenance and repairs, if needed, to the critical infrastructure (UPSs, HVAC, Fire System, etc.)
  • Resolves and tracks technological incidents, requests, or changes generated by operations and/or Help Desks.
  • Protects facilities, equipment, and other physical resources from damage, theft, or misuse within their area of responsibility.
  • Ensures compliance with defined standards in project implementation by providing guidance and counseling.
  • Guarantees process continuity cooperating with Security in the execution of the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).
  • Optimizes operation and user assistance updating Tenaris Operating Manual and proposing improvements in the operation process.
  • Issues Purchase Orders to keep an optimum inventory level.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.
  • Experience with Data Center Operations
  • Proficient in installing, terminating, and testing Ethernet and fiber optic cabling, as well as troubleshooting connectivity issues to maintain a reliable data center network infrastructure.
  • Experience with managing HVAC systems, cooling solutions, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), power distribution, and backup power generators to ensure optimal data center performance and reliability.
  • Proficient in managing networking infrastructure, servers, TCP/IP protocols, and overall IT infrastructure to ensure seamless data center operations and reliable connectivity.
  • Experience with managing access control systems, surveillance technologies, and security cameras to safeguard data center facilities and ensure restricted access to authorized personnel.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in high-stakes situations, with strong risk identification and evaluation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with experience diagnosing complex issues through data analysis and implementing solutions to enhance data center performance.
  • Understanding of data center infrastructure components, including servers, network devices, cooling systems, power distribution, power generators, access control systems, and monitoring tools.
  • Proven ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, detect anomalies, and address potential bottlenecks in data center operations.
