About The Position
The position involves developing application security plans, policy guidance, operations regulations, and procedures to ensure Information Assurance (IA) regulatory requirements are followed in support of assigned applications and systems. The role includes providing assistance and guidance on matters pertaining to the Risk Management Framework, preparing certification and accreditation packages via the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) automated cybersecurity certification and accreditation system, and analyzing functional and technical requirements of proposed or existing IT systems to determine necessary development or modification to meet mission objectives. Additionally, the position requires preparing system change/programming specifications, executing tests for system or subsystem software validation, and reviewing test results for effectiveness in meeting specifications.
