About The Position

The Credentialed Trainer delivers training for assigned applications in a blended learning environment, including instructor-led classes, practice labs, online demonstrations, one-on-one support, and more. Responsible for logistical elements of training, including class invitations, roster management, and course maintenance in the Learning Management System (LMS). Supports curriculum development by testing and providing feedback on new and updated curriculum and authoring tip sheets and eLearning scripts as directed. Understands the implementation of new Epic functionality and enhancements and emphasizes its appropriate use with end users. The individual in this position may assist in the design of support/training solutions based on Help Desk call trends, provide support and training for the LMS, serve as a resource on effective usage of electronic health record (EHR) applications, and serve as general point of contact for AHS's Help Desk with respect to questions concerning supported applications.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma is required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year related work experience, preferably in a clinical healthcare, education, or IT-related field.
  • Must achieve an Epic Credential within 90 days of hire.
  • Familiarity with learning and development in a business setting.
  • Working knowledge of adult education and training delivery methods.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Epic systems preferred.
