About The Position

As an Information Technology Coordinator, you'll monitor and work through the company helpdesk system providing service to internal clients to resolve software and hardware issues related to troubleshooting, installations, configurations, procurement, and disposal. You'll communicate regularly with internal clients, their supervisors, the IT team, and IT team leaders. You'll participate in team meetings aimed at identifying issues, proposing solutions, and implementing improvements to enhance operational productivity. The information technology coordinator reports to the Technology Director.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate IT environment working with ticketing systems.
  • Associate of Science in Information Systems or Technology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, and Windows 11 software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support for requests and issues related to computer systems, VOIP, software, network connectivity, procurement, and peripherals.
  • Respond to client requests, operate diagnostic tools, isolate problems, and implement solutions.
  • Communicate effectively through voice, messaging, and email to determine nature of problem.
  • Process requests through help-desk ticketing system and automation tools.
  • Understand and practice effective troubleshooting techniques.
  • Walk client through problem-solving process.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Write task-specific instructions and documentation regarding issues and resolutions.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
