About The Position

The IT Coordinator provides essential technical support to the field service groups, warehouse, and our data center, ensuring seamless operations. Elevate end-user experiences by delivering exceptional technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, and other devices. Execute precise reimaging processes, mastering the art of managing system configurations to ensure optimal performance and elevate hardware capabilities. Configure software systems like MS Office, Citrix, and Linux for optimal functionality. Implement and manage a tracking system for network availability, software licenses, and expiration dates. Oversee our inventory, including equipment, hardware, software, and supplies. Troubleshoot and maintain external and internal devices such as hard drives, printers, scanners, laptops, and tablets. Enforce firewall rules with a keen eye for precision. Collaborate with Network Engineers and Database Engineers on tasks like setting up firewalls, configure rule changes, and database-related initiatives. Support gaming system hardware and software in a virtual environment. Maintain OS firmware for cutting-edge systems. Document and track comm equipment location and serials. Troubleshoot communication issues. Monitor and maintain contractually required dual comm locations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Network Technician or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software systems.
  • Familiarity with security measures and compliance standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • CompTIA Network+ certification required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1 - 2 years of related experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications such as A+, Sec+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent preferred but not required.
