The IT Coordinator at GEODIS plays a crucial role in supporting the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and maintaining the Labor Management System (LMS) within the distribution center. This position is essential for ensuring that the technology infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently, enabling the seamless movement of goods. The IT Coordinator will assist in the installation and maintenance of various computer systems, telecommunication systems, and networking systems that are vital for daily operations. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including personal computers, printers, RF scanners, and new computer configurations. In addition to technical support, the IT Coordinator will enforce policies related to user rights and security, ensuring that all systems are compliant with company standards. Documentation is a key aspect of this role, as the IT Coordinator will be responsible for updating IT-related processes and tracking the backup of network resources and data. Maintaining up-to-date virus software and definitions across all computer systems is also a critical responsibility, as is managing the software inventory and licenses for CIB devices and components.
