About The Position

The IT Cooling Key Account Manager, FCS is responsible for managing and building strategic, long-term relationships with Stäubli key clients to maximize mutual value, drive revenue, and ensure customer retention. Responsibilities include acting as the primary contact, understanding client needs, coordinating within the FCS Division to meet customer demands, developing account strategies for growth, and analyzing sales data. A successful KAM possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of the industry, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, (specialization in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering highly preferred) or equivalent sales experience in a related field.
  • Preferred 3+ years of sales experience, or key account manager in technical field, with a focus on thermal management solutions in the datacenter of high-performance computer industry.
  • Residing in the Austin / Houston / Dallas Texas region required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current or new customers, channel partners, and co-suppliers on regular basis, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Educate and persuade potential customers on the value and advantages of Stäubli products and services.
  • Gain market insights to identify product development opportunities, share competition intelligence, to ultimately generate new Business Development opportunities for Stäubli IT Cooling product portfolio.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and workshops to customers and prospective clients, creating value.
  • Participate in weekly North American & Global meetings and calls, to align on strategy and activities with management and the IT cooling team.
  • Define and share forecasts and periodic market & customer trend analysis.
  • Actively and timely communicate and create reports to both local and global IT Cooling Segment Team members – utilizing Stäubli CRM.
  • Actively attend various marketing events, trade shows, and industry functions to network and promote the company offering.
  • Generate and follow up on Leads in timely manner.
  • To gain and provide needed technical specification information to Technical/Applications Team to generate new projects.
  • To efficiently handle any customer’s claim in a shortest timeframe and keep highest standard of customer satisfaction.
