The IC-5 application engineer will play a critical role in a small team, delivering complex business capabilities using a portfolio of technology for HR. This role is responsible for driving the creation of scalable, integrated solution blueprints and quick prototypes that support key HR functions. The application engineer will lead the evaluation of new technologies, identify opportunities to simplify the ecosystem, and champion the adoption of native capabilities from enterprise licensed products. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and strategically minded, with a passion for continuous innovation and simplification. This position sits within the HR Platforms & Delivery Technology (HRPDT) organization, which oversees the design, delivery, and sustainment of Kaiser Permanente-s HR systems and platforms. Our team partners with product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that our technology strategy aligns with business priorities. The position will contribute to critical initiatives including Oracle and Salesforce product extensibility, embedded AI enabled transformation, and long-term HR technology simplification. This senior level individual contributor is primarily responsible for serving as the lead technical expert on project teams, contributing to technical direction for varying technical solutions, and ensuring IT systems are effectively utilized.
