About The Position

The SAP Modernization PMO is seeking an IT Consultant to anchor Program Governance. This role ensures the transformation runs with discipline, clarity, and strong compliance. The candidate in this role will build and manage governance structures, support program and business leadership through high-impact presentations, and ensure program documentation is organized, accessible and audit-ready.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field and 8 years of relevant experience in the technology field; in lieu of a degree, 10 years of relevant experience in the technology field may be considered
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and deploying large scale IT applications.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated success in customer facing technology product management role
  • Demonstrated experience in managing technology project initiatives and product management
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities through projects or other work planning experiences
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in IT project management methodologies, requirement management, quality assurance and IT processes
  • In-depth knowledge of the business area’s functions and applications, and of system and technology alternatives
  • Demonstrated experience managing outsourced vendors (on and off shore) within the information technology field
  • Ability to create senior level presentations via various mediums strong oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills- demonstrated ability to translate complexity into clarity
  • Strong Understanding of PMO Governance, Delivery Frameworks, and Compliance Standards
  • Demonstrated experience managing Change Controls and Document Management
  • Proven Executive Presentation and stake-holder management communication skills
  • Experience with SAP S4/HANA Modernization or large-scale transformational technology programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Audit Practices, IT controls, and documentation readiness
  • Understanding of Utility related regulations associated with technology projects such as SOX, 810, BPU, ect.
  • Department of Energy’s regulation 10 CFR 810 is required.

Responsibilities

  • Governance: Build, Refine, and enforce governance frameworks, process and decision structures
  • Maintain program standards across, PMO, QA, Product Teams, and Business Partners
  • Facilitate Governance Forums, approvals and cross-functional alignment
  • Monitor Adherence to templates, processes, and quality expectations
  • Presentations: Develop polished and effective PowerPoint Presentations for leadership, steering committees, and regulatory bodies.
  • Translate Risks, Decisions, Dependencies and progress with clear, crisp and effective visuals
  • Support Program Director with Storyline Development and Messaging
  • Documentation and Compliance: Own the structure and organization of Program documentation across all product areas
  • Maintain Repositories for requirements, designs, decisions, risks, testing, and releases
  • Ensure Documentation meet standards for audit, regulatory reviews and compliance purposes
  • Track Documentation completeness and drive teams to fill gaps.
  • Develop and Enforce Change Controls on Program Materials
  • PMO Support & Alignment Assist program PMO in the development and adherence of Standardization of templates, workflows and methodologies
  • Establish and Track Governance KPIs and escalate Risks or Gaps
  • Support reporting on program health, risks, decisions and deliverables.
  • Develop and Facilitate alignment meetings with Program Team, as well as internal and external customers on program status.
