This position is not a developer role but requires overseeing PeopleSoft modules and supporting the team in various system-related production support, enhancements, and projects. The candidate will troubleshoot issues and develop system solutions in collaboration with KPIT and non-technical stakeholders. The core responsibility is to work with KPIT and users to develop, enhance, and maintain system solutions that support the Physician HR processes. The MDPeople/Taleo team is part of the SCPMG Permanente Human Resource Systems team, consisting of 8 members. The department manages various HR systems to provide SCPMG Physicians with Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, and other HR-related services. The team specifically manages the MDPeople (PeopleSoft) and Taleo Recruiting platforms. The role requires maintaining an understanding of user behaviors, needs, and motivations through observation techniques, task analysis, and feedback methodologies. The candidate will also develop basic prototypes or rudimentary working models of products or information systems, illustrating functionalities, interactions, and user options. Responsibilities include creating annotated comps, design assets, and specifications for implementation, as well as performing basic UI/UX product or system evaluations, delineating design defects, developing standards and guidelines, and publishing on-brand reusable components.
