Requirements

• A strong understanding of computer systems, including hardware, software, operating systems (Windows, macOS), networks, and internet applications.
• Previous experience as a help desk technician, computer technician, or IT support specialist is generally preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware (like desktops, laptops, printers, routers, and switches) and software (including operating systems and applications).
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, providing technical support to users (in person, via phone, or email), and escalating issues to higher-level support or management as needed.
• Ensuring network connectivity, troubleshooting network issues, and potentially installing and configuring network components like routers and switches.
• Implementing and maintaining security measures, including antivirus software, and potentially assisting in addressing security incidents or breaches.
• Maintaining records of repairs, fixes, maintenance schedules, and potentially creating or updating knowledge bases or FAQs.
• Performing regular upgrades and updates to software and hardware, as needed.
