The Impact You Will Have As a Business Analyst, you will be a key liaison between business leaders and technical teams. You will lead requirements gathering, process design, and solution delivery efforts that enhance operational efficiency and platform performance. Your work will directly influence QTS’s ability to scale and innovate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience with APIs, Agile/Scrum methodology, and web-based platforms.
  • Proficiency in mockups, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Strong facilitation and documentation skills.
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills.
  • Proficiency in Visio, Excel, JIRA, Confluence.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Change agent and self-starter mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management experience.
  • QA background with full-cycle testing and traceability.
  • Scrum training or certifications.
  • Business Analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA).

Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering Lead workshops, interviews, and sessions to capture business needs and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and refine requirements based on business drivers and timelines.
  • Define business dependencies and system intricacies across integrated platforms.
  • Solution Design & Delivery Guide the development and implementation of business solutions.
  • Perform data mapping and define integration points between platforms.
  • Document feature sets and validate functionality with QA teams.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing and ensure successful operational handoff.
  • Process Improvement & Automation Analyze complex business processes to identify automation opportunities.
  • Reengineer workflows to improve automation potential and efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Project Collaboration & Communication Partner with project managers to plan and prioritize tasks, resources, and timelines.
  • Track and communicate risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions.
  • Participate in status meetings and leadership activities.
