About The Position

We're seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to support the Division of Maternal and Child Health (DMCH), where we focus on enhancing the well-being of prenatal and postnatal women, families, infants, and children. As a key member of the Division Office, you will play a vital role in analyzing business processes and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop, maintain, and improve our IT systems, including platforms such as REDCap, Monday.com, and various program-specific tools. Your work will support a range of impactful programs, including the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, Health Access Nurturing Development Services (HANDS), the Kentucky Early Intervention System (KEIS), and critical initiatives such as PRAMS and maternal and child fatality reviews. Requirements

  • EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree OR a graduate of a college or university with an associate's degree in IT or related field OR certification in an IT-related field.
  • EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: One year of systems analysis, IT support, business administration, public administration, or a related field of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as project manager for DMCH systems operations and data management.
  • Analyzes the division’s systematic business processes, ensuring alignment with programmatic needs and outcomes.
  • Develops and recommends procedures for effective data management.
  • Ensures system and data projects comply with set timelines and budgets and align with DMCH's goals.
  • Serves as the liaison and subject matter expert between DMCH and internal and external stakeholders on DMCH systems (REDCap, Monday.com, etc.).
  • Provides technical assistance to staff for systems operations and data management projects.
  • Serves as liaison between DMCH and information systems staff (e.g., OATS or COT).
  • Develops data and systems projects for DMCH programs.
  • Researches systems and data management issues and develops solutions for recommendations.
  • Collaborates with program staff and stakeholders to design solutions and leverage emerging technologies.
  • Promotes the use of and identifies or develops training for staff on using the DMCH systems.
