About The Position

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be a member of the Frontline IT organization supporting PPG's Traffic Solutions team. You will interact daily with our users globally, address business issues through the appropriate application of new or existing technology and address & resolve user issues. This position is located in our office in Greensboro, North Carolina headquarters - we offer a hybrid work model. You will report to the IT Manager. Key Responsibilities Knowledge of practices, policies, and procedures in their area. Varied Responsibilities with moderately complex problem solving, independent analysis, and decision-making skills Experience in the use of technology in managing a business/function process Understanding of how IT affects an organization and ability to link it to redesigned business processes Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement is desirable, involving broad based information systems and utilizing tools and techniques to affect business change Strong analytical abilities and skills to evaluate alternative approaches and to recommend the most feasible and economical solutions Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to learn quickly to develop effective working relationships across a diverse team of functional, technical, and business partners Project Management Skills - ability to manage small to medium projects independently Technical skills to support user requests independently with standard tools if available Ability to support software delivery as needed with product manager interactions, specifications and user story development as needed Ability to develop test plans, coordinate testing efforts and manage change management as needed Ability to run scrum planning and stand-up sessions independently as needed Ability to support and document enhancements for ERP systems (i.e. SAP) Ability to support manufacturing execution systems (MES) Ability to support and enhance small to medium complexity MS PowerBI reports/applications Qualifications A four year degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, a related discipline or equivalent experience 6+ years of IT or a related discipline experience Must have a strong systems and process orientation Possess the ability and desire to foster the development of junior team members Prior experience working in ERPs is preferred Prior experience supporting manufacturing systems and integrations is preferred. Requirements

  • A four year degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of IT or a related discipline experience
  • Must have a strong systems and process orientation
  • Possess the ability and desire to foster the development of junior team members

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in ERPs is preferred
  • Prior experience supporting manufacturing systems and integrations is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting MS PowerBI reports/applications is preferred.
