Requirements

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must reside in the United States (does not include Alaska or Hawaii).
  • Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
  • 3+ years of experience with developing, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting functional business requirements, specifications and use cases.
  • 3+ years of business analysis experience in an application development setting with exposure to various methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Secure in time management, independent judgment, problem solving and autonomous decision making.
  • Ability to look beyond a situation for innovative solutions and ideas.
  • Experience facilitating team meetings, daily standups, retrospectives, providing status reports, and conducting analysis.
  • Works well in a team collaborative setting, coordinating work and addressing work prioritization.
  • Experience serving as the primary interface between business partners/product and an IT team as well as building effective relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills across detailed notes during discussions, informal/formal presentations to audiences varying within and across teams, translation of requirements to development team.
  • Experience developing and improving departmental standards, processes, and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience with Greenlight, ECARS, Launchpad, ARMS or Odyssey rental systems.
  • Experience leading large-scale projects.
  • Cloud technology experience (AWS).
  • Experience using Splunk.
  • Experience in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, interprets, reviews, validates, documents, and maintains business and functional requirements related to development and enhancement of API services.
  • Coordinates and facilitates meetings to define key capabilities and requirements that will enable stakeholders' business strategy.
  • Evaluates business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options; recommends solutions that best serve business needs.
  • Provides information about how requirements may affect functional design documents.
  • Conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members.
  • May lead acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met.
  • Presents information regarding enhancements and tracks and responds to questions from business and IT team members.
  • Identifies potential problems that may arise with new or enhanced applications; communicates how problems will affect business and recommends solutions.
  • Writes business correspondence and technical reports; reviews report results for accuracy.
  • Research opportunities to minimize complexity by leveraging current IT investments and seeking out cost effective solutions.
  • Participates in change management activities, including QA, troubleshooting, and investigation.
  • Implements process improvements & enhancements that result in increased quality and service.
