About The Position

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office suite, and IT systems.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business and technical needs into clear requirements.
• Must work well in both team and individualized tasks.
• Must possess initiative and the ability to learn quickly.
• Must possess the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements by conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, and analyzing existing systems and processes across various departments.
• Support business process mapping and gap analysis efforts, with a focus on IT systems and workflows, helping to identify inefficiencies and recommend technology-driven improvements aligned with organizational goals.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements documents, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to support IT project decision-making, track system and project metrics, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.
• Stay updated with IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis to contribute insights and support continuous improvement of IT systems and services.
• Research industry changes, operational challenges, and technology developments in the electric utility industry to inform business strategy and planning.
