About The Position

Looking for a highly motivated, experienced IT TECHINCAL Business Analyst who will help bridge the gap between business needs and IT data and application solutions. This person must have great requirement gathering, documentation, and communication skills. In addition, they must be proficient in data wrangling, data analysis, and testing designed solutions. They must know how to write SQL, create/understand data mappings and the flow of data from system to system (APIs/ETL)s. All work will be managed and executed using an agile framework with a highly proficient Agile team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Business Administration with an emphasis in a specific functional area or equivalent work experience and technical training
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant functional area, two years of experience with application package modules, and one package implementation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in the ability to express medium to high level technical concepts in business terms
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks
  • Expertise in eliciting, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
  • Basic project management skills to help manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Strong, hands-on SQL skills, including the ability to navigate complex databases, write joins and aggregations, and understand database structures and data management practices.
  • Solid understanding of the full lifecycle of a customer order, from order entry through scheduling, production, and fulfillment
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Understanding of how data is transformed as it passes from system to system

Responsibilities

  • This individual will be part of a team responsible to build out, enhance, and support a handful of .net solutions designed to store and calculate lead times for customer orders as well as calculate price for supplier products based on features/options of the product.
  • Their primary responsibilities will be to work with experts in the business to gather requirements, create functional designs, work with developers to create the solutions, test solutions, and support.
  • They will be required to analyze how customer orders, configurations, and constraints impact lead time calculations and production planning.
