The IT Business Analyst (ITBA) has an overall responsibility of enhancing the quality of IT products and services for the organization's business lines. This role will utilize functional business requirement and technical business requirement scoring to assist with solution selections.

  • Enhances the quality of IT products and services.
  • Analyzes data to inform business decisions.
  • Finds technological solutions to business needs.
  • Works with business lines to document and score functional and technical business requirements.
  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
  • Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
  • Must have 5+ years of work experience as a business analyst.
  • Demonstrated experience leading/facilitating workshops.
  • Ability to communicate, influence and build networks with technical/non-technical stakeholders.
  • IIBA Level 1 (CCBA) accredited.
  • IIBA Level 2 (CBAP) accredited.
  • Project management experience, and accreditation.
  • Broad understanding and appreciation of the IT technology deployed within enterprise and field applications.
  • Previous experience working in the oil and gas industry.
