The primary purpose of the job is to provide end-to-end Business Analysis and Project Management services in support of the development of the Actuarial Data Repository (ADR) managed by the Actuarial Information Technology group. The analyst will work closely with actuarial teams for annuity valuation, experience studies, and reinsurance. The Actuarial IT team needs a strong Business Analyst resource to thoroughly understand, analyze, and document stakeholder’s processes and information needs following best practices to help prepare Business Requirement Documentation by working closely with Actuarial Information Technology stakeholders and actuarial business users. The analyst will then create technical specs from the business requirements for the development team and will work with the development team to ensure successful implementation. The project supports the actuarial department’s growing data needs and automation of data intake. Responsibilities will include duties across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including business analysis, project management, documentation, and overseeing and participating in quality assurance testing.
