Responsibilities include performing necessary research to understand business issues, developing possible solutions, and recommending viable business/technology solutions to management for approval. The role also involves managing resources and teams, overseeing design reviews, defining business requirements for API solutions, designing Google Cloud-hosted APIs, performing API validation, and leveraging insurance domain expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, informatics, business or related.
• 5 years of experience as a business analyst, consultant, project manager or related.
• Experience defining business requirements for API solutions integrating Guidewire policy center.
• Experience designing Google Cloud-hosted APIs, optimizing for scalability, security, and performance.
• Experience performing API validation, analyzing JSON based API payloads, and troubleshooting data integration issues.
• Experience leveraging insurance domain expertise in policy administration, underwriting, claims processing, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate resources are assigned to project teams and manage resources and teams.
• Review and provide input on performance of team members as appropriate.
• Oversee design reviews to ensure project/system designs meet business needs.
• Define business requirements for API solutions integrating Guidewire policy center.
• Design Google Cloud-hosted APIs, optimizing for scalability, security, and performance.
• Utilize IICS for ETL processes and data transformation.
• Perform API validation, analyzing JSON based API payloads, and troubleshooting data integration issues.
• Collaborate with QA teams for defect resolution and system stability.
• Leverage insurance domain expertise in policy administration, underwriting, claims processing, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in or lead the evaluation of software packages as they relate to the project/functional area.
