About The Position

The Role The role of IT Business Analyst, Officer will be a member of the KYC Solutions Team, which is part of Compliance IT. You will work with development and QA teams as well as an outside vendor This position will be a key member of the KYC Solutions team. The team works with State Street IT teams and an outside vendors to deliver technical solutions to KYC business and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for liaising with business and compliance teams to obtain, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes in KYC applications.

Requirements

  • Able to work independently and lead working groups
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills along with close attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills enabling you to effectively work with management, team members, and vendors
  • Experience in writing Business Requirement Documents
  • Passionate about process improvement and technology
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, technical or related field
  • 5+ years experience as a business analyst on IT projects, preferably in financial services
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis with Excel, SQL, BI tools
  • Strong working knowledge of financial services and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Fenergo SaaS platform software is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Elicit and interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements so that requirements are clearly understood, prioritized appropriately and implemented
  • Provide solutions to complex business processes related to Know Your Customer (KYC) applications and regulatory data/document collection requirements
  • Write User Stories and work with globally distributed Agile team across multiple time zones that include business, developers and testers
  • Configure vendor application to provide solutions to business and regulatory requirements
  • Make recommendations for solutions or improvements that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
