About The Position

The IT Auditor will be responsible for conducting perimeter audits of IT systems, identifying security risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and security of the organization's IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT auditing with a focus on network and perimeter security.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CEH) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough audits on firewalls, network gateways, and systems exposed to the external environment to assess their security and integrity.
• Identify any potential security risks and provide recommendations for improvements to fortify network defenses.
• Ensure all IT systems and processes are compliant with pertinent standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and internal security policies.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to discuss audit findings and devise effective solutions.
• Document the results of each audit clearly and concisely, and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
