About The Position

We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor for our mid‑size regional bank client on a contract basis. The position will support their ITGC and Cybersecurity domains within the IT Internal Audit function. This is a fully remote role with an initial duration of three months and the possibility of extension.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
5+ years of relevant IT Audit experience within financial services.
Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

Execute IT and cybersecurity internal audit reviews, including planning, testing, and documentation of controls.
Assess risks related to information security, infrastructure, applications, and third‑party technology providers.
Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and industry frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, NIST, ISO).
Prepare clear audit workpapers and reports, and communicate findings and recommendations to management.
