The IT Assistant Manager at Hanwha Convergence USA Corp plays a crucial role in supporting the IT department's operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This position involves collaboration with the IT Manager to oversee daily technical operations, provide technical support, and implement IT policies and procedures.

  • Assists IT Manager by performing related duties.
  • Aids in developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Responds to user requests by providing first level technical and functional support including ERP, MES, and WMS systems, cloud-based applications, and the MS Office Suite.
  • Serves as escalation point for IT troubleshooting, including laptop repairs, email and mobile device support, and hardware diagnostics.
  • Implements and enforces network hardening measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Monitors and maintains the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers and network devices.
  • Monitors SAP, MES, and WMS software functionalities and ensures their integrity and accuracy.
  • Reports and troubleshoots technical issues in SAP by collaborating with the IT Manager and HQ Team.
  • Ensures hardware and software components are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Ensures company data security and protection within all systems.
  • Collaborates with all departments to understand their technological needs and provide solutions.
  • Collaborates with vendors to procure necessary IT equipment and services.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining professional networks.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with systems and network administration, programming, and management.
  • Good understanding of various network components including firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
  • Experience in virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware) and cloud management.
  • Good understanding of database management, with experience in SQL Server, Oracle, or MYSQL.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of non-technical components.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work with components along a production line without adverse effects.
  • Ability to make timely decisions and provide feedback.
  • Strong desire for personal and professional development.
  • Bilingual.
