About The Position

The IT Asset and Procurement Manager is responsible for establishing and managing the lifecycle of all technology assets, including hardware and software. This hands-on leadership role focuses on creating and implementing an IT asset management function, enhancing operational efficiency, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in asset management or related fields.
  • Proven ability to develop IT asset management function.
  • In-depth knowledge of software and hardware asset management, including cloud-based licensing models and tools like ServiceNow.
  • Expertise in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret asset management data and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an IT asset management strategy that aligns with business goals and drives organizational efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including security, procurement, finance, and MSP vendors to ensure alignment with asset management goals.
  • Build and maintain strategic vendor relationships, manage contracts, and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee the entire asset lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with business needs.
  • Drive the implementation & adoption of asset management practices, standards and tools.
  • Provide reports and analytics on asset utilization, cost trends, and optimization opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance practices to ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize asset performance, drive cost savings, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills in asset management and procurement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the asset management function.
