See the top skills & job description below. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Asset Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring data quality, and supporting the software and hardware queues. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our asset management system.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Software Licensing & Hardware Management
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Reporting experience with Excel and other tools

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Tasks supporting Software License and allocation requests: Support user requests for software by monitoring ServiceNow Software Asset Management Tasks, taking action throughout software and user lifecycle.
  • Facilitate Receiving and Updating Asset Chain of Custody: Oversee the process of receiving IT assets, ensuring that all assets are accurately logged and tracked throughout their lifecycle. Update the asset chain of custody records to reflect any changes in ownership or status.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Maintain high standards of data quality by regularly auditing and updating asset records. Ensure that all asset information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Support Software/Hardware Queue: Provide support for the software and hardware queues by managing requests, tracking progress, and ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with other IT teams to address any issues related to asset management.
  • Asset Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventories of IT assets to verify the accuracy of asset records. Reconcile discrepancies and update records as necessary.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Generate reports on asset management activities and provide documentation as required. Ensure that all asset management processes are well-documented and adhere to company policies.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to IT asset management. Implement security measures to protect IT assets from theft, loss, or unauthorized access.
