About The Position

The Intern assists the Architecture and Sales Systems team in the areas of software development and testing. Develop, test, and implement enhancements to existing production systems and new systems to support emerging business needs Develop Software using Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git Repositories, and CI/CD Pipelines Learn and utilize web development technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, Blazor, Rest API, HTML, and CSS, hosted in Microsoft Azure Cloud Build Data Solutions on Databricks and SQL Server utilizing T-SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, and Microsoft Entity Framework Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high quality software delivery Apply Calamos coding standards; follow promotion, testing, and other department standards Perform other duties as assigned Currently enrolled (as a rising junior or senior) in a Computer Science Bachelor's or Master's degree program Previous IT internship experience preferred High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion Must be organized and have a high attention to detail Good communication, inter-personal, analytical and critical thinking skills along with the ability to quickly learn new technologies For Illinois Applicants only: the expected hourly rate for this position is $22/hr. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled (as a rising junior or senior) in a Computer Science Bachelor's or Master's degree program
  • High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Must be organized and have a high attention to detail
  • Good communication, inter-personal, analytical and critical thinking skills along with the ability to quickly learn new technologies

Nice To Haves

  • Previous IT internship experience preferred
