About The Position

Act as lead Architect and lead solution developer for Digital solutions - which include and are defined as: All mobile and web solutions including Dennys.com, E-commerce, mobile apps, content management solutions Infrastructure and configuration through both internal and external teams for all domains, e-commerce, mobile and web applications Virtual Restaurant web properties Integrations with CRM and e-commerce partners Digital in-restaurant solutions and technologies - kiosk, self-checkout, and customer facing solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or business discipline; Advanced degree or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of leadership within IT, with experience in large-scale technology implementations.
• Direct experience with emerging technologies, strategic innovation, and IT architecture.
• Proven track record in delivery of large, complex initiatives where technology is the driver/enabler.
• Understanding of and experience in defining and managing a portfolio of products and/or services.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Android SDK.
• Multiple years of leadership experience within restaurant, retail, or food & beverage industries preferred.

• Proven ability to collaborate, negotiate, and influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build solutions for all Denny's digital and e-commerce properties.
• Direct management, coding, and development in Drupal web-based content management systems.
• Research and develop new solutions and innovation for digital and e-commerce solutions.
• Thought lead and directly manage personnel responsible for web and mobile development.
• Manage 3rd party vendors for delivery of all digital solutions.
• Develop and execute annual roadmaps for Digital, e-commerce, and in-restaurant digital experiences.
• Lead the development of and introduction of Digital technology innovation grounded in business purpose.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Technical Services to identify IT process and infrastructure improvement.
• Maximize vendor relationships and IT investment to support current business needs.
• Introduce and lead the Architecture Review Board within IT.
