About The Position

The IT Applications Specialist will provide technical and operational support to the engineering workforce, ensuring smooth workflows, enhanced productivity, and effective project management. This role involves participating in projects with team members to continuously improve processes, standards, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of related experience preferred
  • Familiarity with engineering software administration (setups, installs, licensing, user support).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic programming knowledge, with a preference for VBA and SQL.
  • Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts.
  • Efficiency in supporting and creating documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and prioritization abilities.
  • Willingness to work in a highly diverse and multi-segmented organization.
  • Ownership of tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision.

  • Maintain strong relationships with the end-user community to provide necessary support.
  • Create and manage required documentation.
