  • Designs, codes, compiles, tests, debugs, modifies and documents new and existing highly complex mission critical applications. Develops programs within accepted standards, procedures, and guidelines. Knowledge of business rules, VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET and Visual Studio essential.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports, database queries, and computer data files as requested periodically by external State Agencies, private organizations, or end business clients.
  • Analyzes change requests and determines impact on existing mission-critical systems. Meets with clients to discuss issues, define change requests, document current and future business requirements and communicate status of existing change requests. This includes impromptu meetings, design sessions, and informal consultations.
  • Experience with any of the following: Microsoft ASP.NET or .NET CORE, C#, JavaScript, JSON/XML, Entity Frameworks, REST API services, SQL Server (2014+), jQuery / JavaScript, Web API, ASP.Net MVC, HTML 5, and building custom reports
  • Understanding of fundamental Data Analysis
  • Self-Driven learner who could quickly receive or share instruction
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Visual Studio
  • Communication skills: the ability to share status, concepts, and challenges, and collaborate easily
  • Ability to see a project or task to completion regardless of the challenges they encounter
  • Adaptability: the ability to work on several complex applications interchangeably
  • Three years of experience in information technology; OR
  • Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in information technology; OR
  • An associate's degree in information technology plus one year of experience in information technology; OR
  • A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in information technology; OR
  • A bachelor's degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics field; OR
  • A master's degree.
