About The Position

The Applications Analyst - Level 3 must have a clear understanding of systems functionality and/or departmental processes as they relate to the supported system/application(s). Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are required for interpreting and distributing documentation related to systems/application functionality, upgrades and enhancements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering systems limitations. Responsible for leading multiple phases of a project. Duties may include instructing system users on workflows, mentoring, directing and checking the work of other analysts. Must be able to work both independently and as a team member in a solution-oriented, customer-focused environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Five (5) or more years of relevant IT experience
• Ability to work independently in a high-production, fast-paced, and potentially stressful environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Basic understanding of and experience with personal computers (PCs)
• Ability to represent IT as a knowledgeable subject matter expert and provide insights into operational workflows related to application use
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• If hired into a role supporting an Epic application, Epic certification is required within 6 months of date of hire or transfer, or within three (3) attempts at passing the certification exam (effective October 1, 2012).
• New Version Training (NVT) is required with each Epic version release and must be maintained.
• Periodic Epic re-certification is required every 3–5 years or per version release to maintain certification and continued employment within IT.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in an applicable field (e.g., Business Administration, Allied Health, Computer Science, or related field)
• Technical certification(s)
• Five (5) years of experience in analysis, content building, and project management within the applicable application or Epic module
