NIO USA Inc. is seeking a highly motivated IT Application Support Engineer to join our fast-paced team in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will work closely with the Digital Development, Supply Chain, and Finance business teams. You will be responsible for the daily operational support of system process flows, triaging IT helpdesk tickets, and maintaining the highest standards for our SLA metrics.

Requirements

• B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of experience as an Application Support Engineer or in a similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience with business applications and structured databases.
• Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language) and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or .NET frameworks.
• Proven experience supporting business users on a day-to-day basis.
• Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay applications such as Coupa, Concur, Oracle, or SAP.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, process-oriented mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the global Digital Development, Program Management, Helpdesk, and Infrastructure Operations teams across the US, China, and the EU.
• Provide daily support for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle, collaborating with global support teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Support business departments in handling customer data according to strict compliance and security requirements.
• Manage IT/Helpdesk system operations, perform conference room system upgrades, resolve technical issues, and maintain system documentation.
• Assist in managing the inventory of company hardware and software assets.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, prepare technical documentation, and proactively identify process improvements.
• Act as a fast learner and problem solver comfortable "wearing many hats" in a dynamic startup-like environment.
