Our Summer Internship Program, beginning in June 2026 , provides immersive training and introduction to Santander. You will be combining this training with practical experience on both technical and interpersonal skills, helping your development during the i nternship. The 2026 Santander Summer Internship Program is for undergraduate students who have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May/June 2027. Santander US is a nationwide business with locations across the country. This position is located in Dallas, TX . Before applying , please keep in mind that our internship program does not offer any relocation assistance . The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location. As a n IT App Development intern , you will come out of this experience with an understanding of emerging technology, i nfrastructure basics and system integration . You will gain direct knowledge of the transformation journey towards an Agentic AI platform and could include exposure to agile methodology . You'll learn agile ceremonies, basics of AI (including a high-level overview of our RAG platform) as well as some tools we use (current environment) to manage IT related tasks.

Requirements

• An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between either December 2026 or May/June 2027
• Area of Study: Information Technology , IT Program Management , Computer Science, Information Systems or any other related major of study
• Cumulative GPA is 3. 0 or above
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and courage
• Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required
• Analytical thinkers with a strong attention to detail
• Organized and able to manage time and multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently on special projects
• Ability to effectively contribute to a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Coursework in or exposure to accounting, finance, economics, or business.
• Experience in Microsoft Office products .
• Exposure to any of the following Language or Systems: Python, SQL, JIRA, AWS Bedrock, IBM WatsonX , Insight Fluid, ChatGPT, CoPilot

Responsibilities

• Assists Business Analysts in documenting current business procedures and processes
• Assists in the creation of documentation and definitions for technical systems, processes, business rules and data
• Researching new technologies and components
• Ensure Application information is correct and updated as required
• Creating PowerPoints regarding our business case
• Special Project work related to strategic initiatives within the bank - could be related to Channel applications, Loan Systems, Mobile / Online Banking, CRM, Operations
• Monthly Executive Review meetings and QBR reporting
