About The Position

The Business Analyst - ERP (Finance) will partner with both business and technology groups to deliver and maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections system-related solutions for the Vulcan enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Finance, Accounting, and Order-to-Cash and act as a functional expert working with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud. This role will act as a solution product SME for these functions, supporting the current EBS environment and playing a key role in the future transition to Fusion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (MIS, CS, Business, or related) and 3 years of experience supporting Finance, Accounting, or AR users with application design, development, and implementation.
  • Required problem-solving skills on ERP systems (Oracle EBS, Fusion Cloud).
  • Deep knowledge of Order-to-Cash, Billing, Collections, Item Master management, and month-end close processes.
  • Experience designing solutions for Finance (AR, GL, Order-to-Cash) applications.
  • Proven QA experience within ERP business systems.
  • Strong skills in functionally designing and testing integrations (inbound/outbound).
  • Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, and implementation is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with all management levels.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, and manage high-volume workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Accounting Services, Billing, and Collections.
  • Provide deep functional, business process, and system support to all Finance and Accounting teams, translating business questions into effective software solutions.
  • Lead support for month-end close processes, including subledger accounting and AR close.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot key integrations like Order Management-to-AR.
  • Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and process efficiency across all Finance modules.
  • Own system support, maintenance, and configuration for the ERP platform.
  • Act as the backup SME for Chart of Accounts (COA) configurations.
  • Analyze and understand the impact of M&A, divestitures, and COA changes related to the AR subledger and Collections.
  • Participate as a core team member in the Finance digital transformation and future migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Lead the functional design, quality assurance (QA), and testing for approved application changes, including inbound and outbound interfaces.
