Job Summary: The IT Agile Tester will play a key role in supporting the Agile Development Team in supporting agile testing activities tied to monthly development releases. This will include working with business stakeholders and or product owners on creation of users stores and acceptance criteria. Agile Tester will support the creation of test cases, testing support, testing outcome communication and testing documentation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required for the role .
  • 1+ years of QA Testing/Software Testing experience is Required.
  • 1+ years of Business Analysis experience is Required.
  • 1+ years of Agile Development experience is Required.
  • Knowledge of agile practices, frameworks, and techniques.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with agile planning and development tools (e.g. JIRA, Pega Agile Studio, ServiceNow).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing

Nice To Haves

  • Four Year Degree is preferred for the role Business, Computer Science, or a related study.
  • E-commerce experience a plus with understanding of UX website design, buy-flow functionality, sales funnels, and data analytics
  • Experience with Pega and or Adobe Experience Manager a plus
  • Agile, scrum, or project management certification a plus (e.g. CSM, CSP, PMP, SAFe).
  • ISTQB Agile Tester Certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Create, edit and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Identify test scenarios and generate detailed test scripts using industry best practices.
  • Perform regression testing of new and existing systems.
  • Identify discrepancies/errors and communicate testing outcomes to Agile Lead(s)and Developers.
  • Organize and facilitate user acceptance testing, documentation and approval.
  • Identify and analyse business and system requirements (e.g. needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output)
  • Document problems, possible causes, and potential solutions.
  • Active participation in project discussions, scrum meetings and coordination with cross - functional teams.
  • Follow and support change management controls.
  • Support the team in using agile planning and development tools.
  • Contribute to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organization.
