The IT Administrator provides knowledge and technical skills to manage and maintain our organization's IT systems and networks. The IT Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and proactively monitoring and improving system performance and security. Evaluate existing solutions and needs, analyze risks, and propose changes. Essential Functions Prompt and regular attendance. Coordinates and/or performs additions and changes to system hardware and attached devices; includes configuration, installation and testing of new system hardware and software. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware, manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner. Test and update systems at industry standard intervals. Troubleshoots at the physical level, working with electronic measurement hardware, as well as physical checking and testing of hardware devices, at the logical level working with communication protocols. Provides technical consultation, training and support as designated by manager. Produces technical documentation regarding the configuration, testing and use of systems. Oversee software license compliance, renewals, and updates. Other duties as assigned may including but not limited to assisting Systems Engineering Department with Datalinks, and flight line operations. Identify risks and propose replacements, modifications, or omissions to mitigate at the appropriate risk level. Assist other departments identifying specific solutions, compliance with government requirements, and data integrity.
