We are seeking an IT Administrator who serves as an IT generalist responsible for managing, supporting, and maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure across multiple locations. This role oversees user account management, equipment provisioning, software licensing, security monitoring, and help desk coordination. The IT Administrator ensures efficient day‑to‑day operations, maintains strong communication with end users, and supports the organization’s ongoing technology needs. As a collaborative team player, you're eager to contribute ideas, support your colleagues, and take ownership of your work from start to finish.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role
  • Familiarity with Business Central configuration, permissions, and integrations
  • Strong proficiency with Office 365, Azure, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem
  • Superior communication skills and implements best practices
  • Ability to manage help desk tickets with prompt, clear, and professional communication
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing inventory, licenses, and recurring audits
  • Familiarity with network security monitoring, incident response, and remediation practices
  • Experience with Power BI and Jet Reports
  • Ability to manage and maintain office phone systems and user configurations
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry computer equipment or packages weighing up to 35–50 lbs
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching during equipment setup and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
  • Capability to climb small ladders or step stools to access network or telecom equipment
  • Adequate vision to read screens, documentation, and small hardware components
  • Occasional travel between office locations as needed for equipment deployment or support

Nice To Haves

  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 tenants across multiple locations or companies
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, or other device‑management tools.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
  • Hands‑on experience with VoIP phone systems, call routing, and provisioning
  • Experience with security tools such as Microsoft Defender, SIEM dashboards, and phishing‑training platforms
  • Basic understanding of website content updates, domain management, and DNS hosting
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications (MCA/MCE)

Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, and remove users daily across all systems
  • Maintain user profiles, including assigned IT equipment, mobile devices, and license types
  • Coordinate setup, configuration, and distribution of new technology for employees
  • Manage office phone systems and ensure accurate user assignments
  • Provision, package, and ship equipment to remote offices as needed
  • Track IT inventory across all locations and ensure devices are available for immediate deployment
  • Procure and manage software subscriptions and licenses for Office 365, Business Central, and other applications
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date list of license assignments by company and location
  • Assign and update Business Central permissions for new and existing users
  • Review Microsoft Defender quarantine reports daily for each tenant and identify false positives
  • Monitor and review security logs; remediate or escalate issues as appropriate
  • Conduct end‑of‑month reviews of shared services licenses and devices
  • Audit Verizon Wireless accounts for unused or inactive devices and investigate anomalies
  • Perform quarterly phone system audits to ensure that removed or departed employees no longer appear
  • Complete monthly software license audits to confirm deprovisioning of former users and appropriate mailbox conversions
  • Administer KnowBe4 security awareness training for all employees
  • Maintain Spend Clarity system accuracy with proper task documentation and status updates
  • Computer troubleshooting, diagnostics, and end‑user support
  • Set up and distribution of new technology and hardware
  • Labor report generation and distribution
  • Power BI report creation and maintenance
  • Jet Reports configuration and support
  • Business Central system administration tasks
  • Website updates, domain registrar management, and renewal tracking
