About The Position

WWT is seeking an ISSO to support the requirements of the Air Force Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP). This initiative surrounds the alignment of all Air Force systems in the Air Force Information Network (AFIN). Reviewing cybersecurity programs aligning with the CSSP. Providing guidance to system owners on the requirements for alignment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or Higher in Cybersecurity or related field
  • 8140/DCWF Certification
  • IAT II Certification
  • Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with potential for higher read-ins
  • Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles used to manage risks
  • Knowledge of risk management processes
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery continuity of operations plans
  • Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements
  • Knowledge of enterprise incident response program, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data security standards
  • Understanding of eMass and accreditation packages used by the DoD

Nice To Haves

  • CSSP Infrastructure Support certification desired

Responsibilities

  • Advise government personnel on risk levels and security posture of the systems requesting alignment with the Air Force CSSP
  • Assure successful implementation and functionality of security requirements and appropriate information technology (IT) policies and procedures that are consistent with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Continuously validate the organization against policies/guidelines/procedures/ regulations/laws to ensure compliance.
  • Review cybersecurity requirements are integrated into the continuity planning for that system and/or organization(s).
  • Identify alternative information security strategies to address organizational security objectives.
  • Identify non-compliance to determine their impact on levels of risk and/or overall effectiveness of the enterprise’s cybersecurity program.
  • Review policy standards and implementation strategies to ensure procedures and guidelines comply with cybersecurity policies.
  • Ensure plans of actions and milestones or remediation provided by the system owner are in place
  • Review the environment cybersecurity program plans and requirements.
